Amanda Kuehn

Originally from the cornfields of the Midwest, I'm currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I work with individuals and groups to facilitate growth, healing, self-understanding, and well-being. I have a diverse background that includes writing, teaching, story-telling, wellness, and cross-cultural education.

I've always loved learning about people—who they are, where they come from, and how they see the world—and advocate for the power of our sacred stories to teach us about ourselves and set us free.

This is what I believe happens when we mindfully attend to our thoughts, feelings, and sensations, and allow our minds, hearts, and bodies to reveal to us the wounds we still hold, the truth we need to hear, and the wisdom we already possess. I delight in journeying with others as they connect to their True Selves and learn to follow their unique paths.

Education & Experience

Holistic wholeness

As a lifelong learner, I'm always on the journey of becoming. I believe we all are. Since moving to California in 2013, my curiosity has led me to pursuing a smattering of credentials including certifications in creative writing (2015), teaching yoga (2019), spiritual direction and counseling, (2020), Enneagram coaching (2020), and meditation facilitation (2021). I'm currently working towards my master's in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS).

I started facilitating corporate workshops in team-building, mindfulness, and well-being while working at Google and currently offer a number of well-being workshops. I love sharing information and insights and have been a guest presenter at Google's Mental Health Conference, Peacebank's Yoga Teacher Training, Google's Women@SF Conference, and Stanford's Graduate Student Summer Institute.

My offerings integrate my background in story-telling, active listening, mindfulness, and spiritual counseling. While they've have been formed around my trainings and ongoing education, my offerings are also uniquely influenced by my own journey.
